West Hills Middle School will be offering summer school for 9th grade students needing to do credit recovery. Two in-person sessions will be offered. The first session is June 14-25 from 8:30 to 12:30. The second session is July 7-20 for 8:30-12:30. There will be three 70 minutes classes available per session. There is no cost for summer school this year.
Students will receive a Pass or Fail grade for each course. A Pass grade will recover .25 (one quarter) of high school credit. There is a strict attendance policy. Students that miss more than 2 days will be dropped from the course and no credit will be given. Buses will be offered to those students that qualify. Breakfast and lunch will not be served.
We have linked a Google Form at the bottom of this page. Please indicate which course(s) you are interested in recovering and what session(s) you are interested in attending. (Note: Some course options may not carry if interest is low.) Please register by Friday, May 28, 2021. Once you respond, your student will be enrolled and a schedule will be created. If you have any questions or need help with registration, please call the Counseling Center at 801-412-2315.
