Why did you decide to become a teacher?

I loved U.S. History and I had some amazing teachers in jr. high and high school that influenced me to be a teacher. I had a desire to share my love for history with others and the best way to do that would be to teach the rising generation.

What is your favorite part about teaching?

I love working with my students and watching them grow in their understanding.

Fun fact: I have gone canoeing within feet of alligators.
